NICHOLAS CURL

 About me

I have been a photographer for 6 years, starting in 2011 when my dad bought me a Nikon point-and-shoot. Later that year, I upgraded to a Canon t2i Rebel which served me well up until 2016, when I made the jump to a full-frame Canon 6D.

Every time that I pick up my camera, I feel that I am being given the opportunity to capture the world as I see it, which is one of the most unique experiences imaginable. Whether I am shooting a wedding, portraits, or just going on a day-drive by myself into the woods, I am telling a story.

Over the past three years, photography has had a massive impact on the way I tell stories. If I can communicate the way that I see the world to another human being through a single photograph, I've accomplished my goal.

I'm currently pursuing a BFA in Television Writing and Production from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in Orange County, California.
